Bellvale Farms Creamery, Warwick, New York
Bellvale Farms Creamery in Warwick is probably the ice cream shop most recommended to me. Today we went for a hike nearby in the beautiful Sterling Forest State Park and than headed for the ice cream!
When we got to Bellvale Farms Creamery, we had lots of company – the place was bustling with activity. I went with two of the daily specials – Great White Way (white chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirl and dark chocolate chips) and Calf Trax (vanilla ice cream with peanut butter swirl and peanut butter cups). My quandary for the day – since a calf is a baby moose, is Calf Trax baby Moose Trax? Are they ever related? The ice cream was very creamy and tasted great. The view from the picnic tables out back was stunning. This place is worth a visit.
