Shopping with the Scoops Gang – of course we had to investigate ice cream offerings at the mall!
Haagen Dazs Ice Cream is a kiosk in the center of the mall (I do not know exactly what kiosk really is, but I think this was one). It had lots of flavors so I opted for the seasonal special – a Peppermint Bark Sundae – Peppermint Bark Ice Cream, cookie crumbles and hot fudge. It was supposed to come with two scoops of Peppermint Bark Ice Cream, but they ran out after one scoop, so the second scoop was Coffee ice cream. Pat tried to order a Peppermint Bark Sundae too, she was out of luck (“you snooze, you lose!”) – she got Cookies and Cream ice cream instead. I do not know what Mary Lou got. I loved the Peppermint Bark Ice Cream – white chocolate ice cream with chocolaty peppermint bark and peppermint candy mixed in – I will have to get some more before the season is over! Since it was in a mall there was mall seating available. Thought for the day: It is fun to window shop while eating ice cream.
