Sanctuary Ice Cream Parlor, New Brunswick, New Jersey
Rutgers’ Day is a yearly event that I love going to! It is open to the general public (which is what I am), and there is always so much to do! This year I went to the College Ave. campus and played lots of trivia games, listened to history presentations, got our blood pressure taken and saw lots of interesting booths. Near the end of day we went into town to find an ice cream place.
Sanctuary Coffeehouse and Ice Cream Parlor in New Brunswick, New Jersey is an old, very small place. There were lots of ice cream flavors to choose from, but the labels on the glass were worn and difficult to read – I think I got apple and peanut butter panic, both of which tasted great. Then we walked back to enjoy more Rutgers Day!
